Terms of Service
Welcome to Pezza’s Trains. These Terms of Service set out the agreement between you (the Customer) and Perry McDonagh trading as Pezza’s Trains (the Seller). By placing an order on www.pezzastrains.co.uk, you agree to these terms.
1. Business Information
This store is operated by Perry McDonagh, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom.

2. Nature of Goods
Second-Hand Status: All items sold by Pezza’s Trains are pre-owned/second-hand unless explicitly stated as "New."
Condition & Testing: I personally inspect and, where applicable, track-test locomotives. Descriptions are provided in good faith. If an item is a "non-runner" or has known faults, this will be clearly stated in the individual product listing.
Safety: Vintage models and collectibles are sold as historical items for adult collectors and may not meet modern toy safety standards for children.
3. Pricing and Payment
VAT: I am not registered for VAT. The price you see is the final price for the goods.
Offers: Where the "Make an Offer" facility is used, a contract is only formed once I have accepted your offer and payment has been processed.
Currency: All transactions are processed in GBP (£).
4. Shipping and International Orders
Dispatch: I aim to pack and post items within 2-3 working days.
International Buyers: If you are ordering from outside the UK, you are the "Importer of Record." You are responsible for paying all local import duties, taxes, and customs handling fees. Pezza’s Trains is not liable for delays caused by customs processing.
5. Your Right to Cancel (UK & EU)
14-Day Cooling Off: You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt for any reason. To be eligible for a refund, the item must be returned in the exact condition it was sent. You are responsible for the cost of return postage for "change of mind" returns.
Exclusions: This right is void if the item has been dismantled, modified, or if a repair has been attempted by the customer.
6. Faulty or "Not as Described" Items
If an item arrives damaged or is significantly not as described (and the fault was not disclosed in the listing), please contact me immediately. In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I will offer a repair, replacement, or full refund.
7. Limitation of Liability
As a sole trader, my liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods. I am not liable for any indirect or consequential losses resulting from the use or failure of the items sold.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
