This unit has been bench-tested and is a confirmed runner. However, like most vintage model railway mechanisms of this era, it has been in storage and will require a light service (clearing old grease, fresh oiling, and potentially a brush clean/check) to restore it to peak operating performance.

- Condition: Good reclaimed vintage condition. Tested and running, but sold as needing a standard service/tune-up. Wheels, pick-ups, and gears show normal age-appropriate wear but are intact.
- Compatibility: Directly fits the Tri-ang OO/HO Transcontinental double-ended diesel locomotive (R.159). Ideal for replacing a burned-out motor chassis or upgrading a dummy unit (R.250) into a dual-motor puller.
